How to Open a Bank Account

Opening a new bank account with TBL is simple. Follow these steps:

Step 1: Eligibility

  • Need to be a student.
  • Student’s Birth Certificate and school ID card / certificate issued by educational institute / latest monthly school fee money receipt’s (Photocopy)
  • Account Operating Authority: Parent / Legal Guardian
  • Age Limit: Any student below 18 years of age can open this account.
  • No minimum opening balance is required.
  • Monthly withdrawal limit through ATM and POS would be BDT 2,000/. But the limit can be extended up to BDT 5,000/- upon request from parent / legal guardian. 

Step 2: Documents Required

For Student: Student’s Birth Certificate and school ID card / certificate issued by educational institute / latest monthly school fee money receipt (attested photocopy)

For Legal guardian: NID, proof of fund, TIN (if any), utility bill and other necessary documents as advised by management.
